Ø Good ICT base.
Ø Community oriented extension programme.
Ø Good recognition by community, stake holders, University and Government.
Ø Less diversion.
2. WEAKNESS :
Ø No fuller exploitation of learning resources by the stake holders.
Ø Alumni and parents have to be more participatory in enhancement and sustenance of quality in education.
Ø Research activities and publication of articles in National and International journals have to be increased.
Ø Students hails from Remote hilly rural base.
Ø Socio economic hindrance.
3. OPPORTUNITIES :
Ø Good growth potential.
Ø Expertise and infrastructure can be better used.
Ø P.G. and add on courses can be introduced.
4. THREATES :
Ø State Government’s policy about higher education is not stable.
Ø Arrival of foreign universities and colleges.
Ø Fear of easy access to higher education for economically and socially weaker sections.
Ø Competitions from open university (Distance education).
